\u201cCalata Mazzini 15\u201d \u2013 Wine & Selections – , is located in the Portoferraio Medicean Dockyard, along the shopping area of the seafront (the so called \u201cCalata\u201d), in an enchanting background. It offers an accurate wine selection together with several local products.<\/p>\n
This wine cellar consists of many selected products. First of all the wines produced in the territory: the Island DOC wines (white, Red, Ros\u00e9), Ansonica, Vermentino and then the prestigious Moscato and the Aleatico, the king of Elba viticulture.<\/p>\n
The \u201cAleatico Passito dell\u2019Elba\u201d finally got the D.O.C.G. (controlled and guaranteed designation of origin) trademark. It is a wine grape variety of Hellenic origin, introduced in the Island by the Romans.
\nOther local products are: extra virgin olive oil, honey, jams, home brew. Many realities for just one purpose: the quality.<\/p>\n
