Partendo da Badia a Passignano il percorso in auto si snoda prima con un percorso ad anello nella vicina Area Naturale Protetta, su una strada a tratti bianca che propone scorci dall\u2019elevato interesse naturalistico. L’itinerario propone al turista la visita\/sosta alla Cappella dei Pesci e di Poggio al Vento, entrambe legate alla vita di San Giovanni Gualberto. Terminato l\u2019anello l\u2019itinerario prosegue, passando per la Cappella del Morandello, verso Sambuca Val di Pesa, centro sorto intorno al ponte sul fiume Pesa – crocevia tra Firenze e Siena – che conserva alcuni resti del borgo medioevale.
\nA poca distanza, lungo il torrente Pesa, \u00e8 visitabile la cappella di San Giovanni Gualberto, che contiene un masso miracoloso legato alla vita del Santo.
\nIl percorso presenta una lunghezza di 14,3 km, con un’ascesa totale 354 mt per raggiugere l’altitudine massima 517 mt. Starting from Badia a Passignano, the car route first winds through a ring-shaped path in the nearby Protected Natural Area, on a white road that offers glimpses of high naturalistic interest. The itinerary offers tourists a visit to the Cappella dei Pesci and Poggio al Vento, both linked to the life of San Giovanni Gualberto.
