L\u2019Osservatorio Polifunzionale del Chianti \u00e8 una struttura scientifica dedicata alla ricerca, alla didattica e alla divulgazione, alla promozione della \u201cterza cultura\u201d, integrazione tra cultura scientifica e umanistica. Un raro esempio di connubio felice tra professionisti della ricerca, che qui convergono da ogni parte del Paese e del mondo, e appassionati di ogni et\u00e0, nazionalit\u00e0 ed estrazione sociale che desiderano coltivare le discipline scientifiche che l\u2019Osservatorio ha fatto proprie.

\nSi propone inoltre come laboratorio di ricerca e didattica scientifica, luogo di incontro culturale e aggregazione sociale, diventata negli anni anche un\u2019importante attrazione turistica. Missione dell\u2019OPC \u00e8 fare della scienza un\u2019esperienza per tutti. Per questo la struttura offre la possibilit\u00e0 di accesso alle persone diversamente abili dal Parco Botanico alla cupola astronomica. The Chianti Multifunctional Observatory is a scientific structure dedicated to research, teaching and dissemination, to the promotion of the “third culture”, integration between scientific and humanistic culture. A rare example of a happy marriage between research professionals, who converge here from every part of the country and the world, and fans of all ages, nationalities and social backgrounds who wish to cultivate the scientific disciplines that the Observatory has adopted.

\nIt is also proposed as a research laboratory and scientific teaching, a place for cultural encounter and social gathering, which over the years has become an important tourist attraction. The mission of the OPC is to make science an experience for everyone. For this reason the structure offers the possibility of access to disabled people from the Botanical Park to the astronomical dome.
