Al posto della chiesa intitolata ai Santi Cosimo e Damiano sorgeva inoltre una villa romana della quale sono ancora visibili alcuni mattoni sul lato ovest dell\u2019edificio attuale, risalente al XIII secolo. The Blean is one of the largest areas of ancient woodland in England. This section of forest was once crossed by an ancient track known as the Salt Way, used for the transport of salt from the salt pans of Seasalter through Whitstable and on to Canterbury. <\/i><\/p>\n
