Come un&#8217;apparizione sullo Cher, con il suo ponte a cinque arcate che scavalca il fiume, il castello di Chenonceau \u00e8 una testimonianza del fascino del Rinascimento.<\/p>\n<p>Chenonceau detto il \u201cCastello delle Donne\u201d, venne costruito nel 1513 da Katherine Bri\u00e7onnet, impreziosito da Diane de Poitiers e da Caterina de&#8217; Medici, e alla fine salvato dagli eventi della Rivoluzione da Madame Dupin. Questa impronta femminile \u00e8 presente ovunque, e lo ha preservato dai conflitti e dalle guerre conservandolo sempre come un luogo di pace. Il castello, arredato e decorato con rari arazzi e dipinti antichi, rappresenta il monumento storico privato pi\u00f9 visitato di Francia ed \u00e8 dotato di diversi giardini ornamentali, di un parco e di un vigneto.<\/p>\n<p>Le sale ospitano anche una straordinaria collezione museale di dipinti di grandi maestri: Murillo, Tintoretto, Nicolas Poussin, Il Correggio, Rubens, Primaticcio detto Il Bologna, Van Loo&#8230; e una rara selezione di arazzi fiamminghi del XVI secolo.
