Castello di Meleto: delle origini del castello di Meleto sappiamo ben poco; venne forse eretto alla fine del sec XII da un ramo dei Ricasoli. Fu occupato per poco tempo dai Senesi nel 1478, mentre rimase senza successo un nuovo assedio del 1529-30.<\/p>\n
L’attuale costruzione \u00e8 un corpo quasi quadrato che incorpora una torre pi\u00f9 antica; forse quattrocenteschi sono i due torrioni cilindrici negli angoli sud ed est, questo molto ben conservato con il suo basamento a scarpa e l’apparato a sporgere della sommit\u00e0.
